The locally led adaptation to climate change (LLA) Network connects research and policy advocacy supporting the principles of LLA. These principles focus on ensuring that people at the local level control decisions on, and implementation of, adaptation measures. LLA revalues local, traditional and indigenous knowledges and seeks to empower local actors who are best placed to develop successful multifunctional adaptation solutions.
